Maranatha Adventist School in Moberly, MO is accredited by the Iowa-Missouri Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Board of Education and the North American Division of Seventh- day Adventists Commission on Accreditation.
The Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities is a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation.
Education Making a Difference
Maranatha Adventist School is a Christian school that provides an education for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Its purpose is to train youth to know and serve God and to develop responsible citizens.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has been operating schools for 120 years.
They currently maintain elementary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities around the world.
Curriculum
Maranatha Adventist School uses textbooks from major publishers for Math, Social Studies, and English. The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education has developed textbooks with a Christian perspective for the subjects of Science, Bible, and Reading.
Kindergarten through eighth grade
are combined in one classroom. This arrangement results in a family atmosphere where students are associating with others older and younger than themselves in both the classroom and recreation.
The Maranatha Adventist School was established in 1979 and over 200 students have since graduated. Some graduates have gone on to become nurses, doctors, engineers, mechanics, realtors, teachers and building contractors. We pride ourselves in helping raise tomorrow’s leaders.

Students are also grouped in traditional grades, and receive report cards 4 times a year.
Instructional Staff
Maranatha Adventist School teaching staff holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education. Our staff is passionate
about teaching.
At Maranatha Adventist School, our teaching philosophy is that all class work can be completed during school hours. Additional homework is rarely assigned or required.
Financial
FINANCIAL POLICIES FOR MARANATHA ADVENTIST SCHOOL:
Tuition is $260 with a stair step reduction for multiple siblings. for the first child, $235 for the second child, $225 for the third child and $205 for any child thereafter. Total tuition for a year is $2,600.
A registration fee of $225 per child is also charged. The minimum amount payable at registration is the first month's tuition plus one-half of the registration fee. Those who wish to pay the entire year in advance will receive a 5% discount on tuition. Those who wish to pay a semester in advance will receive a 3% discount on tuition.
There will be a registration each semester. First semester registration will be at the school and second semester registration will be via mail-in forms. All past due accounts must be paid prior to either registration.
